The goal was to remodel this home built in the 80s and turn it into an updated Minimalist home. The homeowner wanted a spacious and functional space so we focused on creating cabinets that both fit the aesthetic and had plenty of storage space. To include a pop of color and light into the room, we installed the super wide window right over the sink area. We had to retrofit a header over the window to allow for a view unobstructed by a load bearing structure.
